February 13, 2025 – New updates to our Intercom offering in Command—an Emergency Intercom feature—to support emergency calling and call for aid scenarios. When combined with our Video Security and Connectivity offerings, organizations can now transform their blue light emergency phones into robust, multi-functional security stations.
August 8, 2024 – Every day, Verkada’s intercoms facilitate over 100,000 calls for thousands of customers around the globe. Using Command, customers can configure when and how calls are taken, manage intercom deployments, and review call history. To facilitate larger-scale implementations, we’re excited to announce new software features designed to help organizations gain better visibility and control over their devices and sites.
February 8, 2024 – Three Verkada Intercom updates purpose-built for larger customers that monitor security camera feeds, door events, and intercom calls—Receiving Concurrent Calls in Command, Shared Call Flows, and Bulk SIP Configuration. These call configuration, receiving, and management tools are designed to maintain the simplicity of Verkada Intercom while also enabling the scale required for the largest deployments.
November 9, 2023 – Each day, our customers answer over 40,000 intercom calls using our range of receiver options including the Verkada Desk Station, Verkada Pass app, Verkada Command, and even desk phones. They love the convenience of taking calls on the devices they use every day. At the same time, admins value the enhanced security their intercoms bring to entrances with powerful functionality like People Analytics and Motion Tracking.
